Am feeling particularly pathetic today. The house illness has finally spread to me and this morning I would happily have taken a knife to my temple if it would've helped the ache. Because I've been done for more than a year, and I was miserable almost all the time I was there, but when I get one of their stupid alumni magazines with the pictures in it my chest hurts. Not aided by the fact that Saturday was my Dad's football team's annual barbecue, and I had to turn up and be sociable and pretend I had a life. Which I don't. ( Read more... )

I wish the Red Sox wouldn't lose. It's disheartening, and it upsets my brother. But this is baseball, and unlike in football (soccer) you expect to lose quite a few games. Still.

Tra-la. Today was not a triumph of achievement. Didn't sleep last night so much as listen to Disc 2 of The History Boys, and then Discs 1&2 of Prince Caspian.
